Suzanne has over 20 years’ experience working within family law specialising in children work having been on the Law Society Children’s panel since 2014 representing both children and parents. Suzanne joined BSG in 2020 and heads our Children Team.

Suzanne covers all aspects of child protection and family law from Magistrates to complex High Court cases.Suzanne has established her expertise in working with children, parents with disabilities or who have suffered trauma. Suzanne represents children, parents and family members in court covering all areas from Child Arrangements Orders, Special Guardianship Orders, representing children within private law proceedings, Care Orders, Placement Orders, adoption, and Deprivation of Liberty Applications.

Suzanne represents clients within Courts throughout Lancashire and Cumbria.  

Suzanne is a Resolution Accredited specialist and is committed to considering a flexible approach to resolving family disputes, including by non-court based means. Suzanne has completed her collaborative law training and can assist clients to reach an agreement tailored to their family having conducted round table meetings which can avoid the need for lengthy court proceedings.

Suzanne is based in Lancaster and attends our Preston office by appointment.  

Suzanne enjoys the outdoors and amateur dramatics.
