Keith Parr is a partner and head of the firm’s Dispute Resolution / Litigation Department based at our Preston office. Keith qualified as a solicitor in 1982 and specialises in litigation including personal injury claims, contract disputes, inheritance claims, property disputes, landlord and tenant disputes, professional negligence claims, employment disputes, recovering debts and insolvency.
Keith also drafts terms of business and employment contracts to help avoid clients being at the wrong end of a court case in the future. He also specialises in dispute resolution including mediation.
His philosophy is to negotiate but he is more than willing to take matters to Court if that is what is required to achieve the best result for his clients.
Keith is a Deputy District Judge adjudicating on a wide range of civil litigation cases and family matters. He is also a Member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and was appointed by the Law Society as an assessor for its Personal Injury Panel in February 2012 having been on the panel since it was formed in 1993.
Outside of the law his interests include rock music and watching a number of sports.
