Based at our Lancaster office, Rebecca is the newest member of our Probate team.  In her role she advises clients on wills, estate planning, and estate administration through probate or intestacy. She can also advise on lifetime management of financial and property matters through Lasting Powers of Attorney or Court of Protection applications. Rebecca is happy to attend clients at home or in hospital if necessary. Rebecca has recently completed the STEP Foundation Certificate becoming an affiliate member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners and is now embarking on the Diploma to become a fully qualified Trusts and Estates Practitioner.

Rebecca read Law at the London School of Economics and went on to Chester College of Law to complete her Legal Practice Course, subsequently joining BSG in November 2005.  She qualified in our Commercial Department and was based there for some time before transferring to our Probate team.  She is therefore also experienced in all manner of commercial property matters, including negotiating and drafting agreements for leases, leases, contracts for sale, easements, lease variations and surrenders and on that basis continues to act for our longstanding clients.

In her spare time Rebecca can be found climbing any number of hills and mountains in the Lake District especially when the snow is down. In the warmer months Rebecca is generally found on Lake Windermere playing in all manner of yachts, boats, dinghys, canoes or any other flotation device she can lay her hands on.
